Amos Thurston Richardson met and married Sarah matilda Weed.She was from Deer Isle.They had 3 children;Inez Luella,Zora and Elroy Defaurice Richardson(who is my Great Grandfather)All of the stories referring to Grampie Richardson will be him.
 Elroy grew up,met and married Lydia M. Gott.(Grammie Richardson). They had 3 children;Joe(1883-1903),Nesta G. Richardson Johnson(1886-1946) and Defaurice Brown Richardson(1891-1933).Defaurice is my Grandfather and will be referred as Grampa Brown in future stories.
 Defaurice grew up,met and married Gladys Jordan.They had 6 children;Clara,Defaurice,Leola,June Lydia,Muriel and Beulah.
 The young Defaurice grew up;met and married Mary Sheppard.They had 1 child.Me! I'm JuneLydia(the younger).

 Stephen Richardson grew up and moved to Gloucester,Ma;where he met and married Elizabeth Gott. They were married in Rockport,Ma. March 11,1762.(she is not from the same Gott family that you will see in future posts) Stephen and Elizabeth had 8 children;Hannah,Daniel,John,Deborah,Elizabeth,Stephen,William and another baby Hannah.They eventually decided to move and settled on Mt. Desert Island, Maine to spend the rest of their days.
 William,the next to youngest,is the next in line on our family tree.He grew up and married Lucy Hadlock.She was from Gloucester,Ma.They settled on Mt. Desert also,to raise their children.They had 3 children;Hannah,Nathaniel Hadlock Richardson and Little Lucy.
 Nathaniel is next in our family tree.He grew up to marry Mary Thurston.She was from Deer Island,Maine.They had 4 children;William,Amos Thurston Richardson,Fredrick and baby Clarissa.

 It all began when Stephen Richardson fell in love with Lady Jane Montgomery in Londonderry,Northern Ireland.He was the head Groundskeeper.Since her family would never agree to a union between a lowly born man of his caliber and their blue blood,beautiful daughter;the two lovebirds decided to run away or be separated for life.They secretly married in 1730 when he was 30 years old and she was 21. They boarded a ship bound for the New World and settled in Londonderry,New Hampshire.They had nine children.From my research,it looks like she was in the family way when they were married because their firstborn,James,was born the same year they were married.Then followed Patience,Stephen,Thomas,Elijah,Hugh,Deborah Charity,Jabez(stillborn) and another Patience.
 The son who is our branch of the children is Stephen jr who is their 3rd child......
